The Catalyst Storieroad Institute proudly presents "Understanding Chain-of-Title & Having A Manager" with Matthew Valentinas.

 

Matthew Valentinas is an entertainment lawyer, literary manager, and affiliated literary agent who also serves as a producer on several projects. The bulk of his time is spent representing authors, screenwriters and investigative journalists working in the nonfiction genre, especially true crime. Matt also specializes in shopping and packaging unique IP that often comes from life-story rights or exclusive access to current affair topics that may be engaged in trials or investigations. Matt has recently started working more in the podcast arena, in addition to placing book & article rights with networks and studios. He’s a film school graduate with a law degree that has worked on sets and in acquisitions and business affairs with production companies and at a major studio. Matt always endeavors to put his clients in the strongest positions to achieve their creative goals and enjoys the challenges of being on the sell-side of a very competitive industry.
