Our host Jordan Gelber & Special Guest Jayjit DasGupta will cover all the necessary steps to craft a story & conceive a good TV show with an engaging story engine, memorable characters, proper structure & all the developmental checklists one needs to get the project into production. Aperteur is the technological bridge between content creators and major distributors. We're connecting Hollywood with the authentic, grassroots culture that represents the changing face of media. Aperteur empowers artists to directly connect with untapped audiences and media buyers who crave new and innovative content.
Jordan Gelber is an award-winning actress, producer, creative business strategist, and the CEO of Starbaby Enterprises, a marketing and production firm specializing in creating and curating content at a grassroots level. In 2021, Jordan launched the exclusive Content Pipeline and OTT platform - "Aperteur Network" for Content Creators to showcase their work internationally while having a professional team behind them pitching their unique IP to big box distributors.
Jayjit DasGupta is an alum of the MFA Production program at USC School of Cinematic Arts. During his tenure, he was awarded the Jean and Ruth Negulesco Fellowship in 2016 for Directing & Cinematography. He was also awarded the Lannan Fellowship for his Writing. In 2017, he was invited to be part of the prestigious Emmys/Television Academy program. Since his graduation in 2018, Jayjit has been directing commercials & music videos. Right before quarantine, he wrapped on a $60 million budget, 120 days production for Kevin Williamson's TELL ME A STORY, Season 2 on Paramount+. During the pandemic, he wrote, directed, produced and shot a series of shorts for the mobile/streaming platform, HOOKED, with over 5 million subscribers. Jayjit is attached to direct his debut feature written by Michael Peterson, Showrunner of BONES, BULL and TELL ME A STORY. He is also an AAPI fellow at BRON Studios. He serves as the Head of Development at APERTEUR.

Etan is the Artistic Director of the Toronto Second City Training Centre. He is an alumni of the Second City Mainstage and teaches improv, sketch comedy and screenwriting. He is the winner of the 2021 Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship. Etan has written and developed series for CBC, Meridian Artists, Corus, Nelvana and Nicklodeon.
